Un grand merci à Shoto et Cotae, les propriétair Un grand merci à Shoto et Cotae, les propriétaires de Maiko Antiques, l’extraordinaire magasin d’antiquités japonaises qui a servi de décor principal à notre adaptation du conte d’Andersen, Le Stoïque Soldat de Plomb. Leur boutique est une veritable caverne d’Ali Baba remplie du sol au plafond d’objets des années 1920 aux années 1970, tous plus fascinants les uns que les autres, et pour tous les budgets. Plein de petites choses ravissantes ou insolites pour moins de 50 euros. Un séjour à Kyoto ne serait pas complet sans une visite à Maiko Antiques ! Un grand remerciement au Centre National du Livre, Un grand remerciement au Centre National du Livre, qui nous a permis de créer notre quatrième livre pour Seuil Jeunesse. Grâce à une bourse de création, nous avons pu passer sept semaines à Kyoto afin de réaliser une adaptation d’un conte d’Andersen, Le Stoïque Soldat de Plomb, dans un contexte Japonais. Ce fut une expérience humaine et créative très riche qui va se poursuivre en travaillant avec la conteuse Muriel Bloch et notre éditrice, Angèle Cambournac.
